

UPIKE men’s bowling took to the lanes in Tennessee over the weekend, competing in the third MSC tournament of the season – the Brandon Burns Memorial tournament.
The Bears earned the runner-up spot in the varsity bracket with a two-day score of 9,356 as Parker Spencer earned the team’s first individual title with 1,364 pins.
Pikeville’s Ryan Taylor earned 11th overall with a score of 1,270, just a pin shy of a top 10 finish. The freshman averaged 211.7 pins per game in the team event.
The Bears currently sit at third in the MSC standings with a record of 32-7 after three events.
UPIKE men’s bowling returns to action in Louisville, taking part in the MSC Thomas Burris Memorial on Feb. 27-28.
