The University of Pikeville used a big second half to pull away and beat Campbellsville University, 66-41, in a game played at the W.C. Hambley Athletic Complex this past Saturday.
Quarterback Xavier Malone, making his first start, passed for 417 yards and six touchdowns as the Bears moved to 4-3.
Receivers Derrick Griffit and Cameron Brown had over 100 yards receiving, and both scored a pair of touchdowns. Rashad Brown and Diego Soto added a TD catch each.
Running back Alex Sanders ran for 109 yards on 16 rushing attempts. Jayden Neace ran for two scores while Tyrese Christia added a rushing touchdown.
UPIKE will travel to Crestview to face Thomas More University (4-4) on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
