Belfry’s bats were making noise over the weekend as the Pirates won three games in the Jim Vaughn Memorial Tournament played at Massey Energy Field.
The Pirates, now 17-11, defeated Knott Central, Prestonsburg and Mingo Central. Running their winning streak to four straight games.

The Pirates pushed across three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to knock off the Miners, 10-7, in the finale on Saturday night.
Steven Banks belted a home run, singled, walked twice, and batted in two runs. Noah Brown doubled and walked two times while scoring one run and knocking in a run.
Jake Varney singled in a pair of runs and scored. Jonathan Banks singled, walked twice, scored twice, and added an RBI.
Noah Brown was the winning pitcher.
Tyler Mitchem led the Miners with three hits, including a double. He batted in one run and scored a pair. Chris Ross singled three times and scored once.
Dylan Mounts doubled and walked while scoring two runs and driving in a run.
Dylan Vance was tagged with the loss.

The Pirates jumped ahead of the Blackcats in the early innings and went on to score a 10-0, mercy-rule win on Saturday.
Winning pitcher Jonah Adkins struck out eight and scattered five hits in earning the shutout.
Noah Brown had a pair of singles and drove in three runs. Steven Banks doubled, walked two times, scored twice, and knocked in two runs.
Jonathan Banks had a double and two walks while scoring one run and added an RBI. Chase Varney added two hits, scored once, and batted in a run.
Nick Kidd doubled in the loss.

The Pirates erupted for 13 hits and scored in all four innings to defeat the Patriots, 14-1, in action on Friday night.
Steven Banks was a home run shy of hitting for the cycle. He drove in three runs and scored three times. Isaiah Stanley doubled and singled, scored twice and added two RBIs.
Jonathan Banks added two hits, knocked in two runs, and scored twice. Jake Varney singled and walked twice and drove in a run.
Chase Varney was the winning pitcher.
