Lawrence County’s Bryce Blevins hit his way into the KHSAA record books in the Bulldogs’ 30-0 win over host Betsy Layne on Wednesday night.
He blasted three home runs and drove in 10 runs, second most in 15th Region history, and tied for fifth place in state records for RBIs.
Blevins also added two singles and scored four times.
Blue Fletcher had three hits, including a pair of doubles, scored once, and batted in four runs. Nick Collinsworth finished with four hits, one a double, scored five runs and added 4 RBIs.
Will Lafferty was the winning pitcher. He allowed just one hit, a single off the bat of Jordan Frazier.
Byron Tackett was the losing pitcher.
