HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Pikeville crushes Crittenden County to reach Final 4

Pikeville opened the game on a 19-0 run and never looked back in steamrolling to a 69-41 win over Crittenden County in the All “A” Classic Elite Eight matchup played at Corbin Arena on Friday afternoon.

The Lady Panthers, now 15, will face Owensboro Catholic in the semifinals at 12:30 pm on Saturday. Pikeville has not lost a game this season to an instate opponent.

Trinity Rowe poured in a game-high 21 points, including 19 in the first half as Pikeville built a 49-17 lead.

Kristen Whited followed with 15 points and Kyera Thornsbury tallied 10.
