Lexington Christian pushed across four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to snap a 3-all tie and eliminate Pikeville, 7-3, in the Elite Eight of the All A Classic tournament played at Owensboro Catholic on Sunday.
Losing pitcher Tait Lakin belted a two-run homer to knot the score in the top of the fifth inning. Jake Lowe had the only other hit for the Panthers, now 7-7, scoring Jeb Wilkerson.
