Pikeville erased a seven-run deficit over the final three innings to beat Lawrence County, 9-8, in a road game played on Monday night.
Tait Lakin blasted a game-tying, three-run homer in a six-run, sixth inning. Logan Windle doubled home Jake Lowe with the go-ahead run in the seventh as the Panthers completed the comeback.
Tate Walters singled, walked, and scored a pair of runs while driving in one. Wade Hensley was the winning pitcher as Pikeville moved to 17-14.
Ethan Whitt belted a home run and knocked in a pair of runs for the Bulldogs, who dropped to 24-5. Will Lafferty and Bryce Blevins each had two hits and drove in a pair of runs apiece.
