Pikeville’s Tate Walters delivered a clutch extra base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning to score Braydn Hall with the game’s only run as the Panthers edged previously unbeaten Sissonville, 1-0, at Davis Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers improved to 6-2 and won their fourth straight game. The Indians dropped to 4-1.
Sam Wright added a pair of singles.
Brady Clark pitched five strong innings and Dylan Thompson came on to record the last six outs.

Winning pitcher Kolin Blackburn tripled in one run and Landon Robinson added an RBI single.
Braxton Kendrick angled and scored one run while Garret Jones collected two hits.
In the second game, the Warriors fell, 9-5.
Robinson doubled, singled, scored two runs and batted in one. Burdine singled and scored.
Losing pitcher Peyton Fuller had an RBI.
