Betsy Layne journeyed to Montgomery County to take part in the Gateway Holiday Classic and the Bobcats left with two victories in three games.
Wins came over Shawnee and Owen County while the only loss was to a solid South Laurel team.

Betsy Layne held the lead throughout the second half against Shawnee and scored a 77-67 win in the final game of the Gateway Holiday Classic played on Thursday.
Brady Robinson led the Bobcats now 8-3, with a game-high 31 points. Jordan Frazier tallied 25 and Andrew Kidd added 13.

Betsy Layne struggled offensively, and it proved costly as the Bobcats fell to South Laurel, 64-47, in the second game of the Gateway Holiday Classic played on Wednesday.
Jordan Frazier was the only Bobcat to net in double figures with 13 points. Andrew Kidd and Shawn Howell added nine each as Betsy Layne dropped to 7-3.

Brady Robinson net 23 points as the Bobcats (7-2) landed three players in double-figure scoring. Andrew Kidd tossed in 15 and Chase Mims finished with 14.
