HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Hawks fly past Blackcats; Bobcats top Patriots

Pike Central landed three players in double-figure scoring as the Hawks rolled past Prestonsburg, 72-58, in a game played at Prestonsburg Fieldhouse on Monday night.

Josh Du Toit paced the Hawks with a game-high 27 points while Jaylan Rigdon added 19. Jaden Stewart tossed in 13 and Blake Adams net nine.

Grant Varney led the Blackcats with 15 points and Caleb Lawson finished with 13. Jon Little scored 10 and Kaden Allen hit for nine.
