HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Lady Panthers get past Belfry; Lady Jags stay unbeaten

Pikeville rallied in the final quarter to beat Belfry, 48-42, in a game played at T.W. Oliver Memorial Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

Trinity Rowe paced the Lady Panthers, now 9-4, with 18 points. Kylie Hall followed with 12 and Rylee Theiss tossed in 10.

Kyera Thornsbury scored 18 to lead the Lady Pirates (8-5).

Kenadie Boyette led four Lady Bobcats (4-7) in double figure scoring with 16 points. Madi Meade followed with 14 while Kim Akers and Katie Kidd tossed in 11 each.

Hannah May had 12 points to lead the Lady Hawks, now 2-9, with 12 points. Emalie Tackett finished with 10 and Lakota Johnson added nine.
