The Pikeville Lady Panthers maintained their firm hold on the No. 1 ranking in the Mountain Top Sports girls’ Super 7 basketball poll released on Tuesday.
The Lady Panthers, now 19-2, advanced to the All “A” Classic Final Four in Richmond this past weekend.
Pikeville is followed by Shelby Valley (17-7). The Lady Kats edged out Lawrence County (17-5) in at No. 3.
Martin County (16-3) claimed the No. 4 position while Letcher Central (17-6) is in at No. 5.
Rounding out the poll are Logan (13-2) at No. 6, followed by Paintsville (13-7) at No. 7.
Receiving votes are Mingo Central, Floyd Central and Prestonsburg.
