Pikeville edged out Logan for the No. 1 spot in the latest boys’ Super 7 basketball poll released on Wednesday.

The Panthers and Wildcats are followed by No. 3 Paintsville. The Tigers set ahead of Lawrence County in at No. 4.

Betsy Layne claims the No. 5 position, followed by No. 6 East Ridge. The Warriors are ahead of No. 7 Martin County.

Receiving votes are Man, Shelby Valley, Johnson Central, Floyd Central and Belfry, Tug Valley.
