Belfry’s defense struggled slowing down Lexington Christian’s high-powered offense as the Pirates fell 36-7 in a game played at Henry Clay on Friday night.
Running back Caden Wollum scored on a 28-yard run with just over 10 minutes left as Belfry avoided the shutout.
Dre Young rushed 13 times for 141 yards as the Pirates finished with 219 yards.
Belfry will return to Haywood Stadium on Friday to host Louisville Central (1-2). Kickoff is at 7:30 pm.
