Belfry jumped out to an early lead and the Pirates went on to defeat Powell County, 54-15, in the district finale played at Haywood Stadium on Friday night.
Belfry, now 6-3, wrapped up the district title and top seed heading into the post-season playoffs in two weeks.
Running back Dre Young carried seven times for 150 yards and three touchdowns. Ace Caudill, Caden Woolum, Eli Caudill, and Hunter Hylton each added a rushing touchdown.
Receiver Keaton Deskins caught a TD pass from quarterback Chase Varney.
Belfry will close out the regular season at Letcher Central on Friday night. Kickoff from Cougar Field is 7:30 pm.
