Betsy Layne amassed nearly 500 yards as the Bobcats steamrolled past Bath County, 47-8, in a game played at Bobcat Stadium on Friday night.
Running back Andrew McCutcheon carried 15 times and finished with 139 yards and three touchdowns. Dylon Williams added 110 yards and two scores on 12 attempts.
Running back Landon Howell added a rushing touchdown. He finished with 42 yards.
McCutcheon added a 32-yard TD reception as quarterback Carter Parsons had 111 yards passing on 4of-6.
Mitchell Carter booted five of six extra points.
Betsy Layne, now 2-0, will host Fairview (0-2) in the Dr. Mike Goble Bowl on Thursday night. Kickoff is 7:30 pm.
