HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Big second half carries Tug Valley past Tolsia

Tug Valley overcame a halftime deficit, outscoring Tolsia 29-0 in the second half to score a 35-8 win at Bob Brewer Field on Friday night.

Running back Bryson Elia ran for 284 yards and three touchdowns as the Panthers won their fourth straight game and moved to 4-1. He also caught one pass for 21 yards, finishing with 305 yards total. Elia had TD runs of 6,2, and 75 yards.

Quarterback Preston May tossed a 33-yard scoring pass to Cameron Slone and Dakota Walker recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score.

Tolsia quarterback Robert Evans gave the Rebels (2-3) an early 8-0 lead with a 16-yard run and conversion.

The Panthers will hit the road to face RiverView (2-3) on Friday night. Kickoff from Bradshaw is 7:30 pm.
