HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Elia leads Tug Valley to road win at River View

Tug Valley ran its winning streak to five straight as the Panthers went on the road to River View and blanked the Raiders, 47-0, in a game played on Friday night.

Running back Bryson Elia carried 17 times for 140 yards and three rushing touchdowns. He hauled in two passes for 55 yards and one score.

He wasn’t finished. He picked off a pass and returned it back 74 yards to paydirt.

Quarterback Preston May completed 10-of-14 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Cameron Slone and Elia hauled in one each.

Tug Valley, now 5-1, will travel to Welch to face Mount View (1-4) on Friday night. Kickoff from Nic Nystrom Stadium is 7:30 pm.
