HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Bobcats now 4-0 after rolling past Jenkins

Betsy Layne dominated from the opening kickoff as the Bobcats cruised to a 55-6 home turf win on Friday night.

Quarterback Chase Mims passed for 294 yards and three touchdowns as the Bobcats moved to 4-0. Receivers Reese Music and Nicholas Howell had 110 yards each and a touchdown on just three catches. Music also had a 25-yard rushing touchdown.

Running back Austin Tackett had 65 yards and one score on three carries. Dylon Williams returned an interception 10 yards for a touchdown.

Brady Robinson returned a kickoff for a touchdown, his third in four games.

Betsy Layne will host Knott Central (1-2) on Sept. 17. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
