Betsy Layne’s early-season success continued as the Bobcats steamrolled past Fairview, 43-0, in the Dr. Mike Goble Bowl game played at Bobcat Stadium on Thursday night.
Quarterback Carter Parsons had a big night with 254 yards passing and five touchdowns as the Bobcats improved to 3-0.
Isaiah Adkins hauled in two TD passes while Landon Howell, Connor Bentley and Dylon Williams hauled in one each.
Howell also rushed for 105 yards on just four rushes. Andrew McCutcheon ran for one score. He finished with 58 yards.
Betsy Layne will journey to Knott County Central (1-2) on Friday. Kickoff is 7:30 pm.
