East Ridge journeyed into southern West Virginia to battle River View and the Warriors came away with a thrilling 30-27 win on Friday night.
Quarterback Landon Robinson completed 12 of 14 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns as the Warriors improved to 2-1.
Running back Isaiah Adkins ran for 92 yards and one touchdown and hauled in a pair of TD passes. He finished with 144 yards receiving on nine catches.
Shane Bishop caught a 30-yard scoring strike. Robinson added 78 yards rushing and Stevie Layne totaled 76 on the ground.
East Ridge is idle this week before hosting Tug Valley (1-1) on Sept. 15. Kickoff from the Reservation is set for 7:30 pm.
