HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Hillbillies fall to defending champs

Man fell behind in the early going to defending state champion Wheeling Central Catholic and the Hillbillies dropped a 49-21 outcome to the Knights on Friday night.

Receiver Jeremiah Harless had five catches for 100 yards and one touchdown. Running back Jayden Brumfield added a TD run while Brady Montgomery-Hall returned a fourth-quarter fumble 50 yards for a score.

Quarterback Israel Canterbury passed for 125 yards and a touchdown.
