HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Miners pull away, trounce Warriors in Moore’s coaching debut

Mingo Central used a bruising ground game to pull away from Wyoming East in the second half to score a 43-12 victory in a road game played on Friday.

The victory was the first for newly hired head coach Chase Moore.

Running back Norman Kennedy ran for 148 yards and five touchdowns. He had runs of 6, 10, 10, 3, and 4 yards.

Quarterback Chris Ross ran for 160 yards and a score on 10 carries while running back Kaeden Bolding finished with 104 yards and a rushing touchdown on just seven carries.
