Betsy Layne rushed for 661 yards against Fairview and the Bobcats outscored the Eagles, 46-28, in a district game played on the road on Friday night.
Running back Reece Music carried 28 times and ran for 320 yards and three touchdowns as the Bobcats improved to 5-4. Brady Robinson had 272 yards and four scores on 26 rushing attempts. Both added a two-point conversion run. Robinson caught one pass for 28 yards.
The Bobcats will close out the regular season at home against Floyd Central (0-9) on Friday night. Kickoff is 7:30 pm.
