Pikeville and Johnson Central are ranked No. 1 and 2 in the latest Mountain Top Sports Super 7 football poll released on Tuesday.
The Panthers jumped into the top spot following losses by the Golden Eagles and Lawrence County this past Friday night.
Shelby Valley has climbed to third, followed by the Bulldogs in at No. 4.
Rounding out the poll are No. 5 Letcher Central, followed by No. 6 Belfry and No. 7 Logan.
Receiving votes are Chapmanville, Tug Valley, and Prestonsburg.
