Prestonsburg scheduled a game late on the road with Lewis County this past week and the Blackcats took charge early on and cruised to a 41-16 victory on Friday night.
Quarterback Brayden Slone ran for 180 yards and three touchdowns on just eight rushes as the Blackcats moved to 3-4. Running back Carter added went over 100 yards (107) on 10 carries and added one score.
Running backs Ethan Jarvis and Brent George each added a rushing touchdown.
Braxton Collins led the defense with 12 tackles.
Prestonsburg will host Betsy Layne (1-4) at Josh Francis Memorial Field on Oct. 30. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
