Tug Valley’s athletic wide receiver Caleb May has been named first-team, all-state for the third straight year in Class A by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association.
Man linebacker Erick Grimmett was a first-team selection for the Hillbillies. He helped pilot the Hillbillies defense with his 67 tackles, three for a loss, one sack and one interception.
Grimmett was joined on the second-team defense by teammate Cameran Frye, who was a utility player.
Honorable mention picks included Tug Valley’s Ethan Colegrove and Shane Russell, along with Man’s Justin Grimmett and Jeremiah Harless.
