HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Tug Valley wins ugly over rival Sherman

Tug Valley turned the football over five times in the first half and still managed to slip past Sherman, 13-8, in a Class A showdown played at Bob Brewer Stadium on Friday night.

Running back Adam Slone finished with 82 yards on nine rushing attempts. Quarterback Jaxon Nenni-Mills passed for 69 yards and rushed for a touchdown.

Backup quarterback Preston May came on and passed for 63 yards, including a 24-yard scoring strike to Buddy Marcum to provide the margin of victory.

Tug Valley will host Symmes Valley, OH (1-2) at 7:30 pm on Friday night.
