HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: West Carter slows down Prestonsburg

Prestonsburg’s offense was shut down all but two minutes of the second half as West Carter beat the Blackcats, 41-20, in a district game played at Josh Francis Memorial Field on Friday night

Running back Ethan Jarvis scored on a pair of short runs in the loss while Carter Akers added a 63-yard scoring run in the first quarter. He rushed for over 100 yards.
