Letcher Central pitcher Alyssa Nicely tossed a no-hitter as the Lady Cougars cruised to a 12-0 win over Phelps in a game played at Cougar Field on Wednesday night.
Olivia Frazier had a base hit, scored, and knocked in two runs as Central improved to 22-10. Raygan Anderson, Madison Parson and MacKenzie Nantz all had one hit, scored, and drove in a run.
Madson Prater took the loss for the Lady Hornets, now 2-12.

Floyd Central rallied for two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to win game win over Breathitt County, 6-5, earning a split of their doubleheader played on Wednesday night.
Chelsea Johnson hit a solo home run for the Lady Jaguars, now 10-15. Taylor Hamilton drove in one run with a single and Amelia Wallace had two hits and scored.
Winning pitcher Ashley Bellamy, Katie Jo Moore, and Emma Dudleson all three singled and scored.
In the nightcap, Bellamy doubled in a pair of runs and Dudleson doubled in one. Grace Martin and Moore singled and scored.
Hannah Lewis was the losing pitcher.
