Man pitcher Morgan Cooper tossed a no-hitter as the Lady Billies opened Class A sectional tournament play with a 17-0 win over Tolsia in a home game played on Monday.
McKinley Cline tripled, scored three runs, and drove in four while Kiersten Ellis collected three hits, drove in two runs, and scored twice.
Cooper doubled and singled while scoring three times and batting in two runs. Kaylee Hicks doubled and walked, scored three runs, and added a pair of RBIs.
Olivia Ramsey added two hits, scored twice, and batted in two. Bailey Muncy singled and walked, scored a pair of runs and batted in one.

Winning pitcher Autumn Hall did not allow a hit in three innings while striking out eight Kinna Justice pitched the final two innings.
Amelya Wellman doubled and drove in three runs while Emily Hatfield tripled and walked, scored twice, and added an RBI.
Hall singled twice, scored, and batted in one run and Tailyn Russell singled , scored and knocked in a pair of runs. Haleigh Muncy singled in one run, walked, and scored.

Chapmanville smashed three home runs, including a three -run dinger off the bat of winning pitcher Chloe Murphy, as the Tigers rolled to a 9-2 win over Logan in the Class AA sectional tournament opener played on Monday night.
Erica Zigmon and Brooke Christian added long balls.
Harlee Quick singled in both Logan runs. Lacy Curry had two hits and scored while Emalee Mullins collected two hits.
Charlie Albright was the losing pitcher.
