Pikeville pounded out nine hits, but the Lady Panthers were held scoreless as Olentangy (Ohio) scored an 8-0 in the second game of the Softball Beach Bash played in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., on Monday.
Ginna Jones and Shanna Ray had a pair of singles each as the Lady Panthers dropped to 3-3. Caroline Brown added a double.
Hannah Akers was the losing pitcher.

Pitcher Emily Ford went the distance, striking out 14 batters and allowing just two hits.
