The Pikeville High School Hall of Fame Committee is excited and proud to announce the first induction of a Hall of Fame class since the Class of 2019 was inducted in the fall of 2019.

The PHS Sports Hall of Fame will welcome one new team and seven new individuals in the Class of 2022 on Oct. 21, in a ceremony in the Pikeville High School commons area prior to the Hall of Fame Game between the Pikeville Panthers and Hazard Bulldogs later that night on Hillard Howard Field at the W.C. Hambley Athletic Complex.

After careful consideration, the PHS Sports Hall of Fame Committee would like to introduce the following team and individuals as the newest members of the Hall of Fame at PHS:

  • The 1989 Pikeville Panther Football Team
  • Doug Charles, Class of 1979
  • Chase Huffman, Class of 2006
  • Dr. Lindsey Isner Burton, Class of 2012
  • Christina Johnson, Class of 2009
