Letcher Central fell behind early to Knott Central and the Cougars never recovered in falling 9-3 to the Patriots in the championship game played at Cordia High School on Memorial Day.
Sam Little had two hits, including a double, and batted in a pair of runs for Letcher Central, now 19-16. Ethan Brown had two singles and scored a pair of runs while Quinton Williams singled and scored.
Canaan Cunniff was tagged with the loss.
Colby Napier and Ethan Gayheart had a pair of RBIs each for the Patriots, now 21-12. Caleb Justice tripled, singled. and scored three runs.
Kent Damron was the winning pitcher.

Letcher Central erupted for 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning and cruised to a 19-0 win over Cordia in the semifinals played on Memorial Day.
Winning pitcher Aiden Fields allowed just one hit as the Cougars moved to 19-15. Fields also had two hits, scored two runs, and knocked in three runs.
Canaan Cunniff tripled, walked, scored, and batted in three runs while Sam Little doubled, singled, walked, scored three runs and added a pair of RBIs.
