Belfry used a bruising ground game to dominate Letcher Central, rolling to a 43-14 win at Cougar Field on Friday night.
The Pirates improved to 7-3 while the Cougars dropped to 5-5.
Running back Dre Young ran for 72 yards and four touchdowns as Belfry amassed 412 yards. Ace Caudill and Eli Caudill added TD runs.
Jeremiah Austin finished with 77 yards on eight carries and Caden Woolum added 68 on seven attempts.
Central’s Quinton Williams had a 56-yard touchdown run and quarterback Peyton Combs scored on a four-yard carry.
Both teams will begin post-season play this coming Friday. Belfry will host Clay County (7-3) while the Cougars go on the road to Taylor County (8-2). Both games will kick at 7:30 pm.
