Lawrence County sophomore sharpshooter Kensley Feltner was an unstoppable force as she led the Lady Bulldogs to a second straight 58th District tournament championship, 72-58, over Floyd Central at Junior Newsome Arena on Friday night.
Feltner scored 46 points, including 23 in each half, and pulled down 14 rebounds as Lawrence County moved to 18-10. Kaison Ward finished with a double-double as well, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 boards.
Katie Jo Moore had 22 points for the Lady Jaguars, now 17-5. Grace Martin tossed in 17 and Jada Johnson added 10.
Lawrence County will face Pike Central (9-20) in the 15th Region tournament on March 25. Game time is 8:15 pm. Floyd Central will tangle with Belfry (20-7) on March 24. Game time is 6:30 pm.
