COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Bears cruise to second win

The University of Pikeville Bears shot “lights out” against Simmons College and went on to score a 110-41 victory in a men’s game played at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Tuesday night.

UPIKE, now 2-0, had 12 players ink the scorebook, led by Taeron Hogg’s 15 points. Kevin Bishop II followed with 13 while Malik Malone and Korbin Spencer net 10 each.

The Bears return to action at the Cam Henderson Center against Marshall University on Nov. 7. Tip is 2 pm.
