COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Bears fall at Campbellsville; beat LWC

The University of Pikeville women’s basketball Bears had a slim first-half lead slip away as Campbellsville scored an 86-76 win in a Mid-South Conference game played on Saturday.

Bailey Frazier led five Bears in double figure scoring with 18 points as UPIKE dropped to 19-6. Allie Stone tallied 15 and Mary Englert net 14. 

Hannah Roberts added 12 and Sierra Feltner scored 11.

The Bears will play at Wilberforce University (4-21) on Thursday. Game time is 5:30 pm,

The University of Pikeville struggled offensively but the Bears turned back Lindsey Wilson College in a home game played on Thursday night.

Allie Stone led UPIKE, now 19-5, with 14 points and Mary Englert followed with 12. 

Morgan Stamper, Sierra Feltner and Bailey Frazier added nine each.
