The University of Pikeville Bears battled Mid-South Conference power Lindsey Wilson College from the outset but fell short, 85-79, in a Senior Day matchup played at the UPIKE Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
Brianna Burbridge had an outstanding game with 21 points and 19 rebounds for a double-double as UPIKE dropped to 13-8. Sierra Feltner had 21 points as well and Bailey Frazier fired in 16. Alexis Reed chipped in nine.
UPIKE will play at Bethel University (11-12) on Feb. 18.
