COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Bears work overtime to beat Campbellsville

The University of Pikeville men’s basketball Bears saw a 15-point lead slip away in the second half but recovered to come from behind to beat Campbellsville, 92-87, in overtime in the Mid-South Conference opener played at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Thursday night.

Darius Love led the way offensively with 29 points as UPIKE moved to 4-0. Three other Bears scored in double figures, led by Jacob Brown’s 16 points. Korbin Spencer followed with 14 and Maurice Dickson added 11.

UPIKE will host Georgetown College at the Appalachian Wireless Arena at 4 pm, Nov. 20.
