COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Bears work overtime to upset Pats, 93-88

The University of Pikeville Bears let a second-half lead slip away but recovered in overtime to upset No. 11 University of Cumberlands, 93-88, in a Mid-South Conference matchup in Williamsburg on Monday night.

UPIKE evened its overall record to 5-5 and 3-4 in league play.

Taevon Horton had a career-high game with 29 points while Korbin Spencer followed with 19. Malcolm Green added 12.
