COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Shawnee State outscores UPIKE men in MSC action

Shawnee State used its size and athleticism to run past the University of Pikeville men’s basketball Bears, 91-79, in a game played at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Saturday.

The Bears dropped to 4-5 heading into a matchup with the University of Cumberlands (7-1) on Jan. 4.

Malcolm Green paced the Bears with 19 points while Jordan Perry tossed in 13 and Jacob Brown added 11.
