COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UPIKE men split games; now 6-6

The University of Pikeville men’s basketball Bears built a big halftime lead against Wilberforce University and went on to score a 79-67 victory in a game played at the UPIKE Gymnasium on Saturday.

Teddy Parham Jr. poured in a game-high 27 points as the Bears moved to 6-6. Korbin Spencer followed with 15 and Jacob brown net 11.

UPIKE will be back in action against Campbellsville University (6-7) at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Saturday. Tipoff is 7:30 pm.

Teddy Parham Jr. continued his steady play with 17 points. Elijah Herron and Devin Collins finished with 11 each.
