The University of Pikeville overcame a fourth quarter deficit to get past Olivet Nazarene (Ill), 94-88, in the season opener played on the road in Bourbonnais on Friday night.
Sierra Feltner paced five Bears in double figures with 24 points. Mary Englert followed with 21.
Bailey Frazier tossed in 17 while Morgan Stamper and Katie Collopy tossed in 12 each.
UPIKE will return to action against Kentucky in an exhibition game at Memorial Coliseum on Nov. 2. Game time is 7 pm.
