COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UPIKE women cruise past Milligan; move to 5-1 overall

The University of Pikeville women’s basketball Bears took control early on against Milligan University and stream-rolled to a 92-54 win in a game played at Appalachian Wireless Arena on Thursday night.

It was UPIKE’s eighth straight win over the Buffaloes and moved the Bears to 5-1 this season.

Six players scored in double figures, led by Bailey Frazier’s 18 points.

Mary Englert followed with 15 while Sierra Feltner added 14. Alexis Reed fired in 13, Fatma Aouinet hit for 12 and Hailey Free tossed in 10.

UPIKE will host undefeated Shawnee State (8-0) at 4 pm on Dec. 14.
