COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UPIKE women drop road game at UT-Southern

The University of Pikeville women basketball Bears could not overcome a third quarter deficit as host Tennessee Southern earned a 70-58 win in a game played in Pulaski, Tenn., on Saturday.

Morgan Stamper paced UPIKE, now 3-5, with 18 points while LeeAnna McNulty tallied 14. Georgia Sideri chipped in eight.

The Bears will host WVU-Tech (4-7) on Tuesday. Tipoff is set for 5:30 pm.
