COLLEGE FOOTBALL: UPIKE rallies to edge Thomas More

University of Pikeville quarterback scored on a 22-yard run in the fourth quarter to complete the Bears’ 28-24 come-from-behind win over Thomas More on the road Saturday.

Malone passed for 242 yards and one touchdown, a 14-yard pass to Rashad Brown late in the third quarter for UPIKE’s first points of the game.

Brown hauled in a pair of TD receptions, the second was a 31-yard pass from Dasani Tate.

UPIKE, now 5-3 and winners of three straight games, will host Lindsey Wilson (7-1) on Nov. 5. Kickoff from the Hambley Athletic Complex is set for 1:30 pm.
