University of Pikeville football will kickoff the 2020 season in the spring of 2021, it was announced Tuesday.
The Bears will compete in a condensed seven-game season, starting with its opener at Bethel on Feb. 19.
UPIKE prior to the beginning of the season will hold practice scrimmages next month against Union on the road Oct. 8 and against Kentucky Christian at home on Oct. 29. The scrimmage games will begin a 6 and 8 p.m.
The Bears will host four games during the regular season against Campbellsville, Thomas More, Cumberland (Tenn.) and Georgetown.
UPIKE will journey to Lindsey Wilson and Cumberlands on the round.
All regular season times will be announced soon.
