Letcher Central punched its ticket to the Class 4A district championship game with a 47-13 win over Perry Central in the playoff matchup played at Cougar Field on Friday night.
Quarterback Carson Adams passed for 204 yards and three touchdowns as the Cougars improved to 7-3 and will face Johnson Central on the road Nov. 12. Kickoff from Jim Matney Field is set for 7 pm.
Adams rushed for a touchdown along with running back Isaac Matthews, who led the ground game with 59 yards.
Wide receiver Jonah Little caught seven passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Wyatt Ison hauled in a TD reception.
Nicholas Haning and Ison each returned a kickoff for a touchdown.
