Letcher Central’s high-octane offense was clicking on all cylinders as the Cougars outscored host Perry Central, 49-32, in a game played on Friday night.
The Cougars improved to 4-2 and beat Perry Central for the seventh straight outing.
Quarterback Jonah Little had a big game, passing for 176 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 177 yards and three scores on 21 rushing attempts.
Running back Isaac Matthews added 56 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Receivers Quinton Williams and Brett Smith hauled in TD passes. Williams had two catches for 60 yards and Smith two for 58.
Letcher Central, now 4-2, will return home to Cougar Field to battle Harlan County (3-3) on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
